hello artist designed t-shirts home apply contact us home apply contact us welcome to artyshirts application page. this is the application page for the forthcoming artyshirts website. this is not the domain the website will be hosted on . the purpose of this page is to give you information on the website and explain how you can contribute and earn commision. artyshirts will be a central hub for artists to upload their own image/designs that we will make available to the general public. all you will need to do is to simply create a new product, upload your design and add a few keywords. we will do all the rest. we are looking for all sorts of designs from street style, black and white, humorous, adult (to a very limited degree), fashion, cartoons, designs for women, men and children. in fact anything you can think of. if you have designed it, someone, somewhere will like it. all designs are printed on white t shirts, please bear that in mind. below, we have put togther some faq's on the most popular questions. if you have any further questions, please contact us and we will add them here, along with the answers. how much does it cost to join? nothing at all, its free to join, as you only get paid if you sell something. remember, we want you on our site and charging someone when they have no guarantee that they will make a sale doesnt seem fair at all. what is the commisson rate? you will get 30% of the profits, this equates to roughly 20% of the selling price. a standard t shirt sells for about £15.00 (uk pounds) we take off the cost of the t shirt, printing it, postage and packaging. thats about £5.00. that leaves £10.00 left. 30% is £3.00. how do i know i have had a sale? you will have your own dashboard, once logged in, you will be able to see the sales you have had, alongside which ones you have been paid for. an email is also sent to you. whats stopping you from not letting me know i have had a sale and just keeping all the profits? good point. there is nothing stopping us really, but if no one sells anything, they wont tell their friends and their friends wont join. we have built into the site a system, that once the sale has been marked as "dispatched", an email is sent to you to inform you. this sale is also in your dashboard. you could get one of your friends to buy one of your designs to see if it works, but really, its a matter of trust. how often do i get paid? payment is made every friday. once your sale has beeen dispatched. the next friday is when we pay you. please note: we are currently exploring a quicker system, whereas once the sale has been marked as dispatched, you will receive your commission straight away. there are a few issues with it at the moment, but we are hoping this will be the de facto method. how do i get paid? payment will be made into a paypal account. this is by far the easist way we can find, no worries about currency exchange, or bank accounts. so you will need a valid paypal account to join us. where are you from, where is the business based? we are based in the midlands uk. what equipment do i need to sell on your site? we have many different types of artists. some work with photoshop/illustrator and simply save their designs and upload them. others draw them on a4 white paper, then scan them. so at the worst you need a flatbed scanner. how many images can i upload? as many as you want. each artist will have their own logo, when a customer looks at one of your designs, they will see who the artist is and be able to click to see all the designs from that artist. who owns the copyright to the image? you do, the original artist. you can remove any image you want at any time. who decides what image are available on your website? we do. every new upload will be looked at. it will be assessed for production quality, then to see if it passes our guidelines on what we consider acceptable. no racist/religious taunting/homophobic stuff etc. when will the site be live? we plan to launch april 1st 2017, but will will give our artists access to the back end before that. will your website work on all platforms? yes, both front and back end will work on everything from a desktop computer to a mobile phone. where will you ship to? all over the world. do you have affiliate marketing? yes we will, but you will also be able to promote just your own design as the website url will be easy. such as www.website.co.uk/awesome. this would be the link to all the work created by the artist called awesome. affiliate marketing will be available to those who have websites too. back to top interested ?? if you would like to be involved, please click the "apply" link at the top and fill in the form. we will then be in touch once we a working back end to the website. © 2018 artyshirts application
